Add another (almost) millionaire to the Florida tax rolls.
Carol Tiller, 52, of Daytona Beach, is the latest Florida Lottery winner, claiming a $1 million prize in The Price is Right scratch-off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee, according to its website on Thursday.
Tiller opted to take her bounty as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.
The retailer, a 7-Eleven on Mason Avenue in Daytona Beach, gets a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
The $5 Price is Right game started in April and has had six top prizes so far of $1 million. The game’s overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-4.19, according to the Florida Lottery.
