Stool part breaks lead to stool sitter bruises and over 478,000 roller seats recalled

Some people have a hard enough time staying on backless rolling seats without the wheeled stool’s help. That’s why Harbor Freight Tools recalled about 478,800 Pittsburgh Automotive Pneumatic Roller Seats.

The precise problem, as told in the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall alert: “The connection from the seat to the seat post can break, posing a fall hazard.”

And Harbor Freight Tools knows about the seat weld breaking 96 times, 10 of which involve “minor injuries, including bruises from users falling from the seat.”
