Personal heaters sold to public and military have started fires. They’ve been recalled

The problem, as stated by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice: “The toggle power switch can spark when the switch is used, posing a fire hazard.”

And the alert says Home Easy knows about the toggle switch causing a fire three times.

This covers the Home Easy Geek Heat model No. DH-QB06 personal heaters. They were sold online by Walmart, Target, Amazon and Wayfair, Value Zone stores in New Jersey and Army & Air Force Exchange Service stores for around $23.
