Chaos erupts at DNC when anti-war protesters try to drown out former CIA director
Former CIA Director Leon Panetta was giving a fairly standard speech in support of Hillary Clinton when the crowd erupted.
Chants of “no more war,” “lies” and “USA” broke out at the Democratic National Convention, interrupting Panetta several times before he finished his speech.

The DNC reportedly cut the lights over those protestors, prompting more outrage.

But the protesters were still in the minority in the crowd, and others responded by drowning them out and chanting, “USA, USA, USA!”

Many reported that the original chanters were mostly supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders, who threw his support behind Clinton and has called for party unity.
Republicans have been critical of the DNC for not mentioning terrorism enough.
“Panetta ignored Hillary Clinton’s rush to war in the Middle East and her deadly and calamitous invasion of Libya which further proves her a reckless risk too grave for any American family,” Stephen Miller, a senior policy adviser to the Trump campaign, said in a statement.
