A gambler got lucky at a poker table in Las Vegas after ending up with the rarest hand in the game.

Now, he’s $306,742 richer.

The player sat at an Ultimate Texas Hold’em poker table at the Golden Nugget, the casino said in an April 29 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

He then won the jackpot with a royal flush.

A royal flush is the rarest hand in the game, according to Upswing Poker.

To get the hand, a player has to get an ace, king, queen, jack and 10 in the same suit.

The lucky poker player did just that with his cards in the diamond suit.

The Golden Nugget is an iconic casino and hotel that was built in downtown Las Vegas in 1946.

The casino is part of the Fremont Street Experience.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
