Troopers had to use “noisy ducklings” to lure their mom to safety in Arizona, photos show.

The ducks were seen April 1 on a frontage road that parallels Arizona State Route 101, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said in a Facebook post.

“With help from a few good Samaritans, troopers rounded up the tiny trespassers and took them into custody,” authorities said.

But it wasn’t so easy for them to get the mom duck.

One trooper decided to use her “noisy ducklings” to lure her to a nearby pond, north of the highway.

It worked.

The baby ducklings were reunited with their mom, troopers said.

Troopers are now reminding drivers to slow down and drive cautiously if animals are near roadways.

Try to safely drive around an animal if you need to, troopers said, and call 911 if there’s a hazard.

“Do not attempt to catch animal(s) yourself!” troopers said.
