‘Shhhh.’ House for sale in DC has ‘secret spaces’ spread throughout. Do you see them?
A house with some pretty well hidden secrets has landed on the real estate market in the capital city.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home smoothly combines old-world brick charm with the posh elegance of alabaster-splashed decor and is listed for $2.75 million.
“THIS IS THE ONE- for entertaining and soaking in all things Cap Hill,” the listing on Compass describes. “Gracious spaces throughout with a balance of its original charm.”
Features in and around the 4,681-square-foot home include:
Hardwood floors
Exposed brick
Large kitchen
New hardscaping
Balcony
Back entry
But the biggie happens to be a secret … “shhhh” as in secret spaces, the listing spills. According to Washingtonian, the current owner, George Zoulias, founded the cybersecurity group Perfecta, installed cameras from a “secure military facility” around the house for extra peace of mind.
As for the secret rooms, one is behind a bookcase and the other is in “an attic turret and accessed via ladder,” Washingtonian reports.
The listing is held by Meredith Margolis.
