A Cabernet Sauvignon heaven has listed for $12 million in California. Take a peek
A vineyard with all the bells and whistles has been sweetly poured onto the real estate market in Templeton, California, for $12 million.
And is it a doozy.
It’s “a high-capacity ultra-premium, legacy winemaking facility equipped for crush, fermentation, storage, and barrel aging in the heart of Central Coast wine country, near Highway 101,” the listing on Jenny Heinzen Real Estate says.
“Home to a 44 acre vineyard primarily planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and onsite tasting room, the 64 acre Templeton property has a crush capacity in the range of 250,000-500,000 cases annually.”
According to a news release, the property is owned “by the world’s largest family owned wine company” and “has been a cornerstone of artisanal winemaking, producing award-winning vintages that have delighted connoisseurs worldwide.”
The property has five buildings, which total 48,600-square-feet. The buildings include:
Warehouse with drains
Storage space
Stainless steel tanks
Fermentation building
Lab
Administrative offices
And all the winery equipment is included in the sale.
The listing is held by Jenny Heinzen.
Templeton is about 115 miles southwest of Fresno.
