See what Florida location sold Monday’s only lottery jackpot ticket

Monday’s lone big winner among Cash4Life, Powerball and Fantasy 5 drawings didn’t buy the ticket at Publix, the biggest seller of Florida Lottery tickets, but did buy it in Publix’s hometown.

The Fantasy 5 evening drawing came up 2, 5, 15, 25, 36, a quintet on a Quick Pick ticket sold at the Circle K Kangaroo Express gas station at 2100 W. Memorial Blvd. in Lakeland. That’s now a $105,459 ticket.

This ticket must be cashed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the nine district offices. The closest one to the Kangaroo Express is the Tampa office in Centerpoint Business Park, 1911 U.S. 301 N. Like most of the offices, it’s open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required, at TAMRC@flalottery.com or 813-744-6134.
