3 lottery hits, 2 from Publix, before Saturday’s $1.5 billion Powerball draw
Friday’s Mega Millions, Fantasy 5, Cash4Life and Jackpot Triple Play lottery games produced big winners from two Publix stores, one in South Florida, and a Fort Lauderdale grocery.
On Saturday, you’ll have another chance to be a big, nay, gargantuan winner should you hit Powerball’s five base numbers plus the Powerball for a $1.5 billion jackpot.

The two Fantasy 5 games had Friday’s happiest Florida Lottery players.
The midday draw came up 2, 5, 8, 30 and 31, a combination on a Quick Pick ticket bought at Bargain Supermarket, aka The Blue Store, 2901 NW 19th St. in Fort Lauderdale, and the Oviedo Publix at 443 W. County Rd. Each ticket won $29,161.
All of the $118,093 evening Fantasy 5 jackpot went to the player at a Wilton Manors Publix, 2633 N. Dixie Hwy., who chose 5, 10, 12, 20 and 31.
These tickets must be cashed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the nine district offices. The closest office to Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors is the office in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., and can be reached at MIARC@flalottery.com or 305-364-3080.
