Did either of Wednesday’s Florida Lottery winners hit $1.25 billion Powerball?

Among Wednesday’s Powerball, Florida Lotto, Fantasy 5 and Cash4Life games, the $1.25 billion Powerball top prize certainly was fat enough to split between two winners.

But that’s not the jackpot shared by winners from a tiny South Florida grocery store and a Panhandle liquor store.

Saturday’s Powerball drawing will have an estimated jackpot of $1.5 billion because nobody chose themselves — or had the Quick Pick fortune of a computer choosing — Wednesday’s numbers: 5, 33, 53, 62, 66 with a Powerball of 17.

Wednesday’s Fantasy 5 evening draw numbers of 3, 8, 24, 26 and 32 were chosen by a player at Homestead’s Market 8th Avenue, 719 SW Eighth Ave., and on a Quick Pick ticket bought at the aptly named Fortune Liquors & Lotto, 5878 U.S. 231 in Campbellton. Each ticket is worth $60,742.

These tickets must be cashed at the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee or one of the nine district offices. The Miami office is in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., can be reached at 305-364-3080 or MIARC@flalottery.com and is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required.
