A Publix has sold a lottery winner as a $1.25 billion Powerball jackpot awaits
The day before Wednesday’s $1.25 billion Powerball jackpot drawing, the Jackpot Triple Play, Cash4Life, Fantasy 5 and Mega Millions drawings produced one big prize winner.
Tuesday’s Fantasy 5 midday drawing came up 10, 12, 17, 22 and 28, numbers that were the choice of someone at a Jacksonville Publix, 11250 Old St. Augustine Rd. That’s now a $53,227 ticket.
This ticket must be cashed at one of the Florida Lottery offices, such as the Jacksonville office that’s just five miles from the Publix at 206 Philips Hwy. Like most of the offices, it’s open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 904-448-4760 or emailing JACRC@flalottery.com.
