A Miami-Dade Florida Lottery player won $1 million playing at a Publix

The return on a $5 scratch-off ticket investment turned out to be $605,016 for a Cutler Bay woman, the Florida Lottery announced.

That’s the one-time, lump-sum payment Miozotis Quintana took after getting the $1 million top hit from the Platinum Mine 9X game. Quintana played at the Shoppes at Cutler Bay Publix, 20951 Old Cutler Rd., and claimed her prize at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
