What you know about the Fort Lauderdale mass shooting could be worth $25,000

The investigation of Sunday’s mass shooting in Fort Lauderdale now involves a reward up to $25,000.

Thursday morning, Fort Lauderdale police announced the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in the 2 a.m. shooting that sent five people to the hospital. All those hit have been released from the hospital.

Tips by word, photo and video can be uploaded to a website set up by the FBI’s Miami office. Broward Crime Stoppers, which can be reached online or at 954-493-8477 (TIPS), already had offered $5,000 for the same information.

Earlier this week, as the FBI became involved, Fort Lauderdale police said it had no information on the shooter or shooters, who had left the 100 block of Southwest Third Avenue before police arrived.
