Miami man accused of sexually abusing infant and recording it, cops say
The list of charges for a 21-year-old Miami man already accused of sexually assaulting a child and hoarding child sexual abuse material grew after detectives uncovered video evidence of him sexually abusing an infant his mother was caring for, Miami police said.
Osher Pittman has been jailed since May 28 after an 8-year-old girl told Miami police that she was asleep in Pittman’s living room when he attacked her, according to one of his arrest affidavits. A judge denied him bond.

Months later, on Aug. 18, Miami police detectives received a cyber tip about child exploitation material being uploaded to Discord, a social media and gaming platform. Investigators searched Pittman’s home on NW 19th Terrace, seizing his laptop and cellphone, which contained hundreds of images showing young girls — some as young as 1 being sexually abused, Pittman’s arrest paperwork reads. Some of the files reportedly depicted bestiality.
On Tuesday, detectives reviewing Pittman’s cellphone found at least four self-recorded videos, filmed in a bedroom resembling his, showing him sexually abusing a 2- to 3-month-old girl, according to his latest arrest affidavit.
On Wednesday, detectives spoke with the infant victim’s mother, who said she knew Pittman and his family and would often leave her daughter in the care of Pittman’s mother while she went to work. She identified her daughter as the victim, recognizing Pittman’s voice in his cellphone video, police say.
Pittman and the baby are not related, police say.
On Thursday, Pittman was charged with two counts of sexual battery of a minor, two counts of molestation of a child under 12, and four counts of direct promotion of a sexual performance by a child, in addition to the 15 counts of possession of child sexual performance material, one count of engaging in sexual conduct with animals and charges of sexual battery on a minor he has been previously charged with.
He is jailed at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, records show.
“The dedication of our SVU detectives in pursuing every lead has been instrumental in bringing these charges. We remain committed to protecting our community’s most vulnerable and ensuring justice for all victims,” Miami Police Chief Manuel Morales said in a statement.
