Four people, one of whom might die, were shot at a Broward sports bar, cops say

A person kicked out of a North Lauderdale bar after a fight came back and shot at the bar overnight Sunday, hitting four people, Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

Though one of the people hit outside Players Sports Bar & Grill drove themselves to a hospital, one of the three people North Lauderdale Fire Rescue took to the hospital had what BSO described as “life-threatening injuries.”

BSO says early investigation of what happened around 3 a.m. Sunday said there was a fight inside the establishment at 5280 N. State Rd. 7. After one person was forced to leave, the shooter came back firing at the bar then left, heading south on State Road 7.

No names have been released of anyone involved.

Anyone who knows anything about this can contact Broward Crime Stoppers either online or at 954-493-8477 (TIPS).
