Woman found fatally shot at condominium. Twin baby girls were inside, cops say

A woman was found fatally shot in Pompano Beach before dawn Monday, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

BSO said a call at 5:19 a.m. about a shot woman brought them to 614 Gardens Dr., which county property records list as The Gardens North Nine condominium. The woman’s identity hasn’t been released yet.

BSO said someone in the condominium unit called 911. Deputies found twin infant girls in the unit. Though believed related to the woman, their exact relationship hasn’t been determined. They’re in the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
