Man shot while in his car across the street from a park in North Miami-Dade, cops say
A man was shot in the driver’s seat of his car Wednesday, possibly while driving, across the street from a Liberty City park, police said.
The shooting occurred at 9:58 a.m. at 2165 NW 52nd St., across the street from Olinda Park in a pocket of Miami-Dade surrounded by the city of Miami.
Police know the shooter was on foot, but not much else. While being taken from the driver’s seat of his car to Ryder Trauma Center with a gunshot wound to the torso, the victim was “uncooperative,” police said.
