‘Just wait in line!’ Watch a fight break out between Walmart shoppers in Miami

Shopping trips are getting tense as the coronavirus pandemic drags on.

On Thursday morning, Manny Prades was outside Walmart at 8400 Coral Way waiting in line to return a bike.

Other people were queued up, practicing social distancing in between yellow police tape and a row of shopping carts, when a fight suddenly broke out.

In Prades’ video, you see the two men locked together in battle, clinching each other almost in slow motion.

“People are fighting here,” said Prades off camera as fellow shoppers look on concerned. ‘I don’t know why they’re fighting.”

Onlookers, many in face masks, are yelling for them to stop and a woman says, “Oh my God.”

One man’s fist makes contact with the other man’s head at close range as the two almost smash into a bunch of metal carts.

“Que pasa?” asks another woman. “Helloooo?”

“Just wait in line, guys!” says Prades, trying to mollify the situation.

The videographer, an interiors photographer, told the Miami Herald that one man in the exchange was originally wearing a face mask that came off during the altercation.

Cops were called at 9:29 a.m. about a “dispute of customers on scene,” but no report was written, according to a spokesman at MDPD.

A Walmart worker broke up the scuffle before police arrived, Prades said.
