A 35-year-old woman didn’t survive attending a Friday night vigil, BSO says

An argument that escalated to shots fired killed a Deerfield Beach woman who wasn’t involved, Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

Marge Armande, 35, was just attending a vigil Friday night.

BSO said an altercation between two other people at the vigil, in the 200 block of Northeast First Avenue in Pompano Beach, ended in the shooting of Armande around 10 p.m. She was pronounced dead at Broward Health North.
