1 dead, 2 injured after late night shooting at Lauderdale Lakes apartment complex

One person is dead and two others are injured following a shooting at a Lauderdale Lakes apartment complex, according to multiple reports.

The shooting happened in the area of Northwest 21st Street and 37th Terrace around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, according to WSVN.

Broward Sheriff Office deputies told Local 10 they found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived. One of them was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two were taken to nearby hospitals.

Video taken by local TV news stations showed investigators collecting evidence in the apartment’s parking lot.

Officials have not released the names of the victims.

No other information was immediately available about the shooting or the gunman.
