Broward Sheriff's office homicide investigators looking into rapper XXXTentacion's murder still want to talk to Robert Allen, a 300-pound con man, as a "person of interest."

But, BSO also said Tuesday that the 22-year-old Allen is now wanted on a felony warrant for violation of probation for possession of PVP, commonly called "flakka," and carrying a concealed firearm.

He's on probation until Sept. 15, 2021, after his conviction on 21 counts of fraudulent use of identification and one count of possession of a controlled substance. After that, Allen is scheduled to do a year of probation from Oct. 2, 2021, to Oct. 2, 2022, for carrying a concealed weapon, a felony from 2015.

First, BSO detectives want to ask Allen if he's the "heavyset black male in a dark colored t-shirt" that Dedrick Williams' probable cause affidavit says entered Riva Motorsports & Marine June 18 with an orange-sandal-wearing guy in a white tank top.

According to the affidavit, witnesses and surveillance video track the twosome entering the store, stopping to make a purchase, leaving, getting into an SUV and waiting in a nearby parking lot for XXXTentacion (a 20-year-old whose given name is Jahseh Onfroy).

BSO said they have the 2017 Dodge Journey SUV used to block XXXTentacion's black BMW as it left Riva's parking lot for the robbery that ended with XXXTentacion shot. Williams, who police believe is the man in the orange sandals, has been arrested and charged with depraved murder without premeditation since June 20.
