Police arrest man wanted for Little Havana school burglary
A suspect accused of breaking into a Little Havana school and stealing $5,000 meant for student trips has been arrested.
According to police, Jose Luis Galdamez, 35, ransacked La Progresiva Presbyterian School, 2480 NW Seventh St., early Monday morning. He managed to steal a safe with the money inside by using a luggage dolly.
Police on Monday released photos of the man inside the school captured on surveillance cameras.
