Southwest Eighth Street in Miami is open again near Cafe Versailles, police say
Southwest Eighth Street in front of La Carreta and Cafe Versailles is open again, Miami police announced Thursday around 9:30 a.m.
As the Thursday morning rush hour began around 7:15 a.m., Miami police said a crash with “serious injuries” involving a motorcyclist shut down the street in both directions both directions from Southwest 37th Avenue (Douglas Road) to 36th Avenue.
Or, put in terms of morning cafe cubano stop landmarks, that’s from just west of La Carreta to the corner between Cafe Versailles and its parking lot.
