Nobody has seen 6-year-old Jorge Morales since Saturday morning, Miami-Dade police say. Jorge was never returned to his Redland home after being picked up by his father, Jorge Gabriel Morales, and grandmother, Lillian Pena Morales.
Police say that would be a violation of custody court orders, which is why they circulated photos of all three people and a gray 2006 Ford Explorer XLT. Police say the elder Jorge Morales drives an SUV of that make, model, color and year with Florida license plate CSI U53.
The 45-year-old Morales and his 68-year-old mother picked up Jorge around 9:15 a.m. Saturday at a home in the 23700 block of Southwest 184th Avenue.
Anyone with information on the missing child should call Miami-Dade police’s special victims bureau/missing persons squad at 305-715-3300 or 305-471-8477 (TIPS).
