A ‘suspicious package’ has a square of downtown Miami closed off by police

SUNDAY 3:30 UPDATE: The scene has been cleared and the streets reopened.

What police are calling a “suspicious package” has a two-block long and two-block wide part of downtown Miami closed for an investigation.

The area is bordered by Miami Avenue on the west, Northeast Second Avenue on the east, Southeast First Street on the south and Northeast First Street on the north.
