Police looking for man wanted in a fatal shooting outside a strip club
Miami-Dade police on Monday were looking for a man detectives say shot and killed another man outside a Northwest Miami-Dade strip club over the weekend.
An arrest warrant was issued Monday for Cedric “Ced” Antoine Coleman, 29. Police say Coleman allegedly killed 29-year-old Wilton Jackson outside Extacy Gentlemen’s Club, 726 NW 79 St. early Sunday morning.
Police said Monday that there may have been an altercation inside the club just before 4 a.m. Sunday between Jackson and Coleman before security kicked them out.
As Jackson stood in the parking lot, Coleman drove by and shot at him, police said.
A third man, who was suffering from gunshot wounds, showed up at Ryder Trauma Center in a white Nissan. His role in the shooting was not known Monday, Miami-Dade police spokeswoman Jennifer Capote said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade police at 305-471-TIPS.
