What’s open and closed for Columbus Day
Monday is Columbus Day. The holiday commemorates the anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s arrival in the Americas on Oct. 12, 1492.
It also means that all Miami-Dade County offices, including libraries and courts, are closed in observance of the holiday.
Here’s what else will be closed and open Monday:
All Miami-Dade County offices, including libraries and courts, are closed in observance of the holiday.
All U.S. Postal Offices and most banks also will be closed.
Public schools, state and federal offices and courts, and the stock market, will remain open.
