The political race to succeed Congresswoman Frederica Wilson is a crowded one. Some residents have said they are torn between known candidates such as Miami-Dade County Commissioner Oliver Gilbert and Florida state Sen. Shevrin Jones. Others have said they are undecided and need to vet the candidates further.

Whatever the case may be for you, the Miami Herald, NBC6, WLRN and MIA Media Group are hosting a candidate forum at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22.

A decade after Ava DuVernay debuted her documentary 13th on Netflix, she is teaming up with the streaming service for the 14th, set to launch later this year, Deadline reported. The documentary will focus on the constitutional amendment at the center of birthright citizenship.
