Schools, the post office and courts will be closed Monday for Labor Day. And buses and trains in South Florida will have different hours of operation.

Here’s what to know about what government services are operating and when on Sept. 1:
Mass Transit
Miami-Dade: Metrobus, Metromover and Metrorail will operate on a Sunday schedule.
Broward: Broward County Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule.
Tri-Rail: Tri-Rail will run on its weekend/holiday schedule.
Garbage
Miami: Normal pickup.
Miami-Dade: Normal pickup. Trash and Recycling centers will be open.
Fort Lauderdale: Regular pickup every day in Fort Lauderdale, aside from Christmas.
Broward: Regular garbage collection. The Broward County Landfill will be closed.
Residents of any other areas, check with your municipality.
No mail except Priority Express Mail. Post office branches will be closed.
Courts/Schools/Libraries
Closed.
