Person who didn’t get off the tracks in Miami hit by a Brightline train, police say

A person was hit by a Brightline train around 6 p.m. Sunday two blocks west of Biscayne Boulevard, Miami police said.

The person, reported by some outlets as being a teen boy playing on the tracks, remains in serious condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital, police said Monday morning. The collision happened at Northeast 79th Street and Fourth Avenue.
