Miami-Dade Transit employee accused of sexual assault on a toddler

An operations supervisor for Miami-Dade Transit was arrested Wednesday, charged with two counts of sexual battery on a 4-year-old girl.

Roberto Montano Sr., 59, who has worked for Miami-Dade Transit since 1996, is on unauthorized leave without pay, according to Miami-Dade Transit. He has no prior criminal history, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement database.
