Police have identified the victim of a Christmas Eve hit-and-run and are asking the public for help in locating the driver.

Robert Sean Games, 43, of Pompano Beach, is in an induced coma and remains in serious condition at Broward Health North after he was hit around 8:30 p.m. Dec. 24 while riding his motorcycle southbound on North Federal Highway, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

While waiting at a traffic light on Northeast 14th Street, Games, who works as a pest control technician, was struck from behind by a pickup truck, authorities say. The driver left the scene after hitting Games.

Games suffered several fractures in his arms and legs, police said.

The truck is a black or dark blue 2001-2006 Chevy with a partial tag of IB7 or 1B7.

Police are asking anyone with information about the location of the truck or the identity of the driver to contact Traffic Homicide Detective Anthony Morales at 954-321-4840 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477 or go to www.browardcrimestoppers.org. A reward of up to $3,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.

Games’ friends have set up a fund to help with his medical bills at http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/rob-s-medical-fund/283715.
