Motorcyclist seriously hurt in Pompano Beach hit-and-run

Broward sheriff’s investigators are asking for help in finding a truck driver who struck and injured a motorcyclist on Christmas Eve in Pompano Beach.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of North Federal Highway and Northeast 14th Street.

BSO is looking for a black or blue older model Chevrolet pickup.

Authorities did not release the name of the 43-year-old motorcyclist, who was taken to Broward Health North with serious injuries.
