A lawsuit alleging a tourist hotel near the Fort Lauderdale airport harbored sex traffickers has been filed in federal court.
A woman identified by the initials S.W. alleges she was sex-trafficked from 2019 to 2020 from the Rodeway Inn & Suites in Dania Beach, the court filing states.

She accuses owner Tropical Paradise Resorts, manager EZ Hospitality and franchisor Choice Hotels International Inc. of failing “to prevent and/or take steps to prevent this horrific criminal conduct from occurring at their hotel, so that [the defendants] could continue earning a profit at the expense of human life, human rights, and human dignity.”
