Pompano Beach’s luxury boom continues. The latest tower is complete

Pompano Beach’s newest luxury building is now complete, and it’s already almost sold out.

Real estate firm Related Group announced the completion of Casamar, the 118-unit Pompano Beach luxury residency last Friday. Casamar is Related’s second property in Pompano Beach following Solemar, which was completed in 2023.

All but two units in Casamar have already been sold, a spokesperson said. Located at 900 N. Ocean Blvd., Casamar residences started at $1.8 million.

Casamar is part of a recent real estate boom happening in Pompano Beach, a coastal Broward city just a 20-minute drive from Fort Lauderdale. Home to about 113,000 people, developers say Pompano Beach is an attractive alternative to bustling Miami and up-and-coming Fort Lauderdale, which is also experiencing a wave of new development.

“This city is no longer just a ‘best kept secret,’” said Nick Pérez, president of Related’s condominium division, in a statement. “It’s officially arrived.”

Related is behind much of the hubbub on Pompano’s skyline. Late last year, Related and BH Group announced plans for W Pompano Beach Hotel & Residences, a beachfront 24-story tower managed by luxury chain W Hotels. Construction on that property is likely to begin in 2027. Related also recently broke ground on the Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach, the brand’s first standalone residential property, at 1213 S. Ocean Blvd.

“Solemar started the story. Casamar proved it. Now, with Waldorf Astoria and W Pompano, we’re writing the next chapter,” Pérez said.

Other nearby projects include Hillsboro Shores at 2507 N. Ocean Blvd., Armani/Casa Residences Pompano Beach at 1550 N. Ocean Blvd., and Salato at 305 Briny Ave.

“Related Group’s continued investment is a vote of confidence in our city’s future,” Pompano Beach Mayor Rex Hardin said in a statement. “With each new project, they’ve helped raise the bar for design and quality, bringing new energy and economic momentum to our community. Casamar is yet another example of what’s possible when thoughtful development and local vision align.”

Casamar residents, who are now ready to move in, live on nearly 300 feet of “pristine shoreline,” the press release said. The units, ranging from 1,000 to 3,900 square feet, include private elevator entry, floor-to-ceiling windows and state-of-the-art kitchens. Amenities include pools, a lounge, fitness center, his-and-her saunas, a virtual golf simulator and pickleball court. The building was designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Rockwell Group.

In a promotional video, Related president Jon Paul Pérez called Casamar’s units as “homes in the sky” where residents can watch the sunrise and sunset each day.

“Really, you never have to leave home because you have all the amenities at Casamar,” he said.
