In the richest ZIP code in the U.S., condos dominate the skyline. But if you squint hard enough at the new construction across from PortMiami, you may notice that mansions are bringing a new look to Fisher Island.
Along with luxury amenities and a promise of privacy on the invite-only island, a community called The Mansions on Fisher Island offers to meet rising expectations of the rich for size and security.
Since acquiring the land in 2023, French luxury development firm Madar Group USA has planned a dozen mansions.
Fisher Island sits between South Pointe and Virginia Key. After the The Mansions community is finished, so will the space for new construction.
Beyond the indoor and outdoor square footage that no island condo penthouse can best, Founder and CEO of The Mansions David-Emmanuel Cohen believes it could be one of the last chances to own the land beneath your feet on the island.
Access to the Fisher Island community is a selling point, too.
A nine-hole golf course, a grocery store, a bank, a dry cleaner, a hit-among-the-kids pizza place, and first responders are only a brief walk from The Mansions. To visit the island’s aviary or clubhouse, though, there’s golf cart parking available all around.
There are just three mansions left for sale on the island, starting at $34 million.
