Broward 12-year-old who had been missing since Monday was found Wednesday at a park

THURSDAY MORNING UPDATE: Jenavious Janvier was found Wednesday, Broward Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday night.

Until Wednesday, the last time anyone saw Jenavious, a Deerfield Beach 12-year-old, was Monday around 4:30 p.m. in the area of 700 Northwest 40th Street. He was still wearing a red school uniform polo shirt, khaki pants and gray shoes, and carrying a Fortnite backpack.

But, BSO said, someone who saw media reports that Jenavious was missing later saw him at a Coral Springs park and called police. BSO said he wasn’t harmed and was being taken back to his family.
