A Broward boy last seen riding his bike in a park 3 days ago has been found, police say

Update: Plantation police said 14-year-old Neeraj Kakarla was found Monday and is safe. No other information about his disappearance was released.

The last time 14-year-old Neeraj Kakarla was seen, he was pedaling his Roadmaster mountain bike around Plantation’s Central Park.

That was around 7:30 p.m. Friday. Police have reached out to the public for help in finding the Davie Western High student

Neeraj stands about five-foot-eight and weighs around 125 pounds. He was wearing a brown hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes. The bike he was riding in Central Park, 9151 NW Second St., is purple.

Anyone who knows anything about Neeraj’s whereabouts should call Plantation police at 954-797-2100 or Crime Stoppers or Broward County at 954-493-8477 (TIPS).
