A Broward Sherifff’s Office Fire Rescue worker has been missing since Friday. His union and the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office are appealing to the public to help find him.

PBSO says James Von Minden was “disoriented” when last seen around 5:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Randolph Siding Road and Alexander Run in Jupiter. Von Minden is 5-foot-10 and 210 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt with dark shorts and sandals.

A Broward County chapter of the International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 4321 reached out via social media Monday. The union spelled his name “James Vonminden.” Online databases have both spellings.

Anyone knowing anything about Von Minden’s whereabouts can call 561-688-3400 or any other law enforcement agency.
