One person was injured Tuesday afternoon in a crane collapse at Port Everglades, according to Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue.
The crane went down in the area along 1820 Eller Dr.
The person was taken to Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale, according to fire-rescue. The injury is non life-threatening.
Broward’s hazardous material team is also working a “small” fuel spill, BSO said on Twitter shortly after 2 p.m.
Traffic to the port is not affected.
