WHEN WILL LIFE GO BACK TO NORMAL?
3:30 p.m.: When will we be on the other side of the COVID-19 pandemic?
“I would hope to get to some degree of real normality within a year or so,” said Dr. Anthony Fauci, The Telegraph reports. “But I don’t think it’s this winter or fall, we’ll be seeing it for a bit more.”

FLORIDA’S UPDATED CASE NUMBERS
1:10 p.m.: Florida broke its streak of single-day highs for positive COVID-19 cases reported Sunday and the day’s positive test rate slid down toward the overall positive test rate.
Still, the 2,016 confirmed new novel coronavirus cases in Sunday’s update represented the second-largest single day total for the state. This came from 38,591 tests, a 5.22% positive test rate, more in line with the state’s 5.4% overall testing rate since the pandemic started.

MEET MIAMI-DADE’S VALEDICTORIANS AND SALUTATORIANS
12:35 p.m.: Who are the students in the Class of 2020 who graduated at the top of their class in their Miami-Dade private, parochial or charter school? They are the valedictorians and salutatorians, the students with the highest grade-point average and the ones who traditionally deliver the farewell speech at graduation ceremonies. (Miami-Dade Public Schools does not bestow these titles on its students.)
They’ve overcome a lot this school year — no prom, no end-of-the-year plays, team sports or elaborate graduation ceremonies because of the COVID-19 pandemic — but they have tremendous aspirations and bright futures.
Meet this year’s valedictorians and salutatorians.
