Keys to success: Working with an experienced sales team who are knowledgeable about Addison House’s products, said Alcalay. He said Addison House’s strong relationships with designers and architects, the quality of their products and having buying power — allowing them to create better pricing and a vast inventory — have been the keys to success as well.
Strategy for next steps: Getting the new Design District location up and running and developing a stronger website are ahead for Addison House, Alcalay said. He also said he hopes to create a new business development department, engage with developers and Realtors and offer luxury furniture packages.
