Supermarkets start offering their new sales and BOGOs in the middle of the week to lure shoppers through the weekend.
With Thanksgiving in two weeks, on Nov. 27, Sedano’s, Milam’s, Aldi, Winn-Dixie and Publix want you to jumpstart your plans for the holiday and have announced some of their deals along with the usual sales.
Here’s some of what we found for the coming week:
Publix
Publix BOGOs and sales run Nov. 13-19. Several are Thanksgiving-themed.
- Publix Whole Smoked Turkey, $2.99 per pound. Save 80 cents per pound.
- Publix Spiral-Sliced Ham, $2.99 per pound. Save up to $1.70 per pound.

Publix is selling complete Thanksgiving dinners with some starting at less than $10 per person. Order by Nov. 24. Among the offerings:
Publix Complete Turkey Dinner, Heat and Serve, serves about eight people, runs $69.99. Comes with one fully cooked 9.5-12.5 lb. turkey. Along with:
- 2.5 lbs of Publix Deli Old-Fashioned Cornbread Dressing.
- 2.5 lbs of Publix Deli Homestyle Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes.
- 16 oz of Publix Deli Cranberry Orange Relish.
- 26 oz of Publix Deli Marshmallow Delight.
- 32 oz of Publix Deli Homestyle Gravy.
Publix Mojo Pork Dinner with Rice and Plantains, Just Heat. Feeds about eight people for $69.99. Comes with:
- Publix Deli fully cooked mojo pork (about 5 pounds.)
- Publix Deli Rice & Pigeon Peas.
- Publix Deli Sweet Plantains with Bacon and Onions.
- Publix Bakery Dulce De Leche Milk Infused Bar Cake.

Winn-Dixie
The 100-year-old Winn-Dixie grocery chain, which is rebranding with a Florida focus, is offering several Thanksgiving deals through Nov. 18.
- Smithfield Half Spiral Sliced Ham. $2.49 per pound. Limit two.
- Butterball Grade A Frozen Turkey. 99 cents per pound. Limit one.
- Grade A Whole Frozen Turkey for 49 cents per pound with a $20 additional purchase. Limit one.
- SE Grocers Yellow, Zucchini or Mixed Squash. BOGO. Save up to $3.99 on two.
- Frozen Bone-In Turkey Breast. $1.99 per pound.
- Tyson Twin Pack Cornish Game Hens. $12.99 each.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Choice of one Dietz & Watson Carver Ham or Turkey heat-and-serve meal for $39.99 at the Winn-Dixie deli through New Year’s Day. Serves three to five people. Choice of four Reser’s sides, including:
- Cornbread Stuffing (22 ounces.)
- Homestyle Stuffing (22 ounces.)
- Green Bean Casserole (22 ounces.)
- Mashed Sweet Potatoes (24 ounces.)
- Mashed Potatoes (32 ounces.)

- One 12-count package of King’s Hawaiian Rolls.
Aldi
Aldi’s 2025 Thanksgiving feast feeds 10 for $40 and it includes a 14-pound turkey and nine sides. The price is $7 cheaper than last year’s $47.
“The ALDI commitment to low prices is unwavering and I am thrilled that we are able to offer an even more affordable holiday meal than last year,” CEO Atty McGrath said in a statement.
So what does $4 per person get you? You get the turkey and can choose ingredients including rolls, cranberry sauce, mac and cheese, chicken or cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, celery, Russet potatoes, Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, chicken broth, condensed cream of mushroom soup, brown gravy mix, French fried onions, miniature marshmallows and pumpkin pie.
The Thanksgiving sale runs through Nov. 24.
Sedano’s Supermarkets
Sedano’s, the winner of the Miami Herald’s recent unscientific poll seeking readers’ favorite South Florida supermarket, has several Thanksgiving deals this season. Among them:
- Turkey Dinner for 10. Choose either white rice with black beans or Cuban black beans and rice and two sides from ripe or fried plantains, boiled yuca, fried cassava aka yuca fritas or a salad. Order 24 hours in advance.
- Shredded Pork Dinner for 10. Same side offerings as the turkey dinner and also order 24 hours in advance.
- Heat and Eat Green Beans with Butter and Bacon is $5.99 a pound.
- Sedano’s Ham and Turkey Roll-Up Platter. $12.99.
Milam’s Markets
Milam’s Markets, the runner-up in the Herald’s recent favorite supermarket poll, offers several Thanksgiving meals this year. They are available Nov. 25-27 and need to be ordered two days in advance. The dinners are sold chilled and need to be reheated at home. You’ll be provided with instructions. Here are some of the deals.
- Whole Turkey Meal at $119.99 per dinner serves eight to 12 people and includes a Whole Butterball Cooked Turkey (11-13 pounds); four pounds of Herb Stuffing; five pounds of Creamy Mashed Potatoes; 32 ounces of Turkey Gravy; 16 ounces of Cranberry Relish; and an 8-inch pie. Choose either Apple Pie or Pumpkin Pie.
- Deluxe Spiral Ham Meal at $99.99 serves 12-14 and includes: a 6 to 8 pound Spiral Ham; 5 pound Green Bean Casserole; 5 pounds of Creamy Mashed Potatoes; 16 ounces of Brown Gravy.
- Cuban Style Roasted Pork Meal at $79.99 serves 12 to 14 people and includes a 6 pound Boneless Roasted Pork; 5 pounds of Congri (black beans and rice) and 4 pounds of Yuca.
