TSA PreCheck applications now accepted at Miami International Airport
Air travelers who want to participate in an expedited security screening program can now apply right at the airport in Miami.
The Transportation Security Administration has opened its latest application center for TSA PreCheck at Miami International Airport. Officials with the agency and the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday at the center, which had a soft launch earlier this month.
Citizens and permanent residents can pre-enroll online at TSA.gov and make an appointment to finish the process at the new center on the fourth level of MIA’s Terminal D, opposite the lost and found office. The cost is $85 for five years, and travelers who are approved can use designated lanes without having to take off their shoes or remove their laptop or liquids from carry-on luggage.
