‘I now live in Miami’: See what Bachelorette star Jenn Tran is up to these days
She couldn’t stay away.
“Bachelorette” alum Jenn Tran has gone back to her old life in the 305 after a wild stint on reality TV.
Tran, the ABC dating show’s first Asian-American lead, made the reveal in People magazine’s latest issue.
“I now live in Miami — just moved back, saw my first few patients the other day back in the hospital,” she told the outlet. “I’m very excited. It’s been incredible.”
Before leaving to find a suitor out of 25 bachelors, Tran was a physician’s assistant student at Barry University in Miami Shores. Her academic advisor OK’d her to take a break from her studies to participate. But it sounds like she did get that degree, ultimately.
Tran has gotten into a nice groove that doesn’t involve giving out roses, staying in fantasy suites or going on hometown dates.
What’s incredible is that barely anyone recognizes her at work.
“I was actually really nervous about that, because I was like, Oh, what is that gonna be like and how is that gonna affect the provider-patient relationship? [But] it’s a safe space.” she said.
So now that the career’s on a great path, what’s doing with her love life? Tran famously split with her pick from the show, Devin Strader, after briefly getting engaged on the Season 21 finale. Things, as they are wont to do when millions of viewers are tuned in to your highly public romance, imploded quickly.
Tran is now linked to Sasha Farber, the 40 year old pro she met on “Dancing with the Stars,” but is smartly keeping their relationship under wraps.
You may be seeing Farber around town, too. It’s unclear if he made the move southeast but Tran is all over his Instagram, which is a total green flag.
In one snap, he shows two hands intertwined over the gear box (long car trip from L.A., perhaps?)
“Jenn found love and not from that disaster Bachelorette,” wrote one commenter. “Good for her.”
