Hard up for weekend plans? No need to answer that question.

Rockers and wine lovers will want to get in on the action at Schnebly Redland’s Winery Saturday night: The Homestead winery and brewery is the site of screening of a Metallica concert at 8 p.m. The ‘80s faves will be the stars of this big screen show that is hitting a bunch of drive-in theaters around the country. Drive-in entertainment is all the rage in Miami, but expect this film to be much louder and with some possible head banging on the dashboard.

“It’s been a crazy, hectic, thrilling and exciting time at Metallica HQ as the four of us have all been in the same room making music for the first time in almost a year!” the group says in a release.

This show is the first in a series for Encore Drive-In Nights series, perfect for the quarantine era.

Metallica may have formed in the leg warmer era but they are so coronavirus savvy, they are even selling so called Pandemica merch. A few T shirts, $35 and up, commemorate the occasion and make sure you never forget 2020.

The film shows the guys performing songs off their latest album, “S&M2,” a followup to 1999 classic, reteaming with the San Francisco Symphony in what is sure to be a rousing performance.

Bonus: With each ticket purchase, you get four digital downloads of the record.

Get there early and make it a socially distanced, outdoor day drinking thing, with special wine/beer packages starting at $45.

Details: 8 p.m. Saturday at Schnebly Redland’s Winery, 30205 SW 217th Ave, Homestead; 305-242-1224. Tickets are $115 per car, with a carload of up to six people. Ticketmaster; www.metallica.com/drive-in
