If your kids are despondent about not being able to go door to door to trick or treat, this is not for them. The so-called risk free event is for ages 13 and up. Jump scares are served up at Horrorland at Miramar Regional Park while you stay safely, germ-free in your car.

Produced by South Florida event industry vets Live 305 Entertainment, the creepy drive-thru features themed rooms such as The Carnival, Hospital of Horrors, Dark Barn and Christmas Nightmare.

“We practice social distancing so you can focus on the horror and scares,” says an evil sounding narrator on a video voice over.

“We are inviting all Halloween fans to play in our immersive horror game,” says the description on the website. “With our fully immersive attraction, you become the protagonist of an unraveling a horror movie happening around you in real time.”

Details: Horrorland runs Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., 16801 Miramar Parkway, 800-383-6119. Tickets from $38.99 per car at www.eventbrite.com.
