Remember how earlier this morning you thought the $120,000 banana was the wildest artwork to be spotted at Miami Art Week 2019?

Clearly you missed the inflatable vagina.

At Nautilus by Arlo on South Beach earlier this week, Spanish clothing designer Desigual presented its new SS2020 collection in collaboration with Miranda Makaroff.

And part of that launch included an inflatable vagina.

Yes. At this swanky Miami Art Week party, guests entered the vagina, a doorway to paradise, as it were. Inside is a inflatable sculpture of five women involved in an acrobatic erotic activity that requires more energy than most of us possess after a day of walking around looking at art. Good for them.

The vagina is not merely some prurient trick, however. Makaroff wanted to “change the narrative of Eva, who has historically been mistreated as the ‘original sinner’ and portray her as the creator of pleasure,” according to a press release.

Here’s the best news: The vagina is open to the public through Sunday, Dec. 8. You’re welcome.

The Nautilus by Arlo, also home to the hidden bar Blind Barber, is located at 1825 Collins Ave. in Miami Beach.
