Are you ready for some cheap movie tickets?
Here in Miami, we love our fancy movie theaters. We have Cinebistro in Doral. CMX in Brickell. The Landmark at Merrick Park. V.I.P. areas in Coconut Grove, South Beach, North Miami and other spots where you can recline your seats and purchase adult beverages.
You pay more to be fancy, though. So if you’re looking for a bargain, AMC Theaters is launching $5 Ticket Tuesdays throughout October.
The downside: You have to go to the movies on a Tuesday, when the week has already beaten you down to a barely-functioning pulp and Friday night seems a million years away.
The upside: You could go see “Blade Runner 2049” for five bucks. Or you could spend some quality time with Pennywise and “IT.”

One look at that clown, and I’m thinking it’s Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford for sure.
Anyway, to get the deal, which is good through Oct. 31, all you have to do is join the free AMC Stubs club. There’s also a coupon you can download for a $5 popcorn and Coke on your Tuesday night out.
AMC Theatres in Miami-Dade County are located in Aventura, Hialeah, Tamiami and Sunset Place.
